STUDENT MARKETING INTERNSHIPS
The 2011-12 positions are filled. Applications for 2012-13 school year will be accepted starting Jan. 2012.

The Assembly Hall Marketing internships are non-paid positions that provide pre-professional experience for dedicated, creative, and energetic students, preferably juniors or seniors, with a career interest in Entertainment Marketing. The Assistant Director for Marketing, as well as the other office staff, serve as mentors as the interns act as Marketing Assistants promoting concerts and events held at Assembly Hall. As Marketing Assistants, the interns assist in event marketing by developing promotions, writing press releases, placing advertising, creating ad copy, facilitating market research, managing media databases, coordinating street team efforts as well as other duties as assigned. Student interns receive exposure in nearly every aspect of event marketing while receiving professional networking opportunities to prepare them for a marketing career in the live entertainment business. Candidates should have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to demonstrate creative ability. Marketing, Advertising or Communications majors preferred. One academic year commitment with a minimum of 12 hours per week for college credit required. Three positions available.
